You really should take a hike on Fern Cliff Natural Area Loop in Ohiopyle State Park. Hiking in Pennsylvania was very, awesomely, totaly, cool. ( Except for all the MUCK!!!) Yuck! YUCK!
YUCK! All though we made our way around it somehow... Obstacles!! You know. Logs, rocks, roots, bigger logs... All that stuff...
I wanted to cross the first muck pond because there were three big logs that you could step on. It was so fun! And guess what! On one of the muck ponds I balanced on a very slippery log instead of going on the rocks! All thanks to SHOW Circus Studio. Now... Let's put that aside and talk about all the fun stuff... Like... Ummmm..... Watching rafts and kayaks go by in the white water, and getting to the end of our hike to see a big waterfall named Ohiopyle falls. I thought it sounded like a hurricane of baby water buffalos lost in a humongous lake. Plus, getting a huge scoop of ice cream after doing a 1.7 mile hike on an extremely humid day is a pretty nice and
cool treat. I got a Chocolate Chip Cookie Doe, Zoë got a scoop of Rocky Road, Dad got a scoop of Vanilla, and mom got a scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip.
